1. What documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
To rent a car or bike, you will need a valid driver’s license, a government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or Aadhaar card), and a credit/debit card for security purposes.


2. Is there a minimum age requirement to rent a vehicle?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years old to rent a car or bike from Self Drive Zone. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of driving experience is required for car rentals.


3. How do I book a vehicle?
You can easily book a vehicle online through our website. Choose your preferred vehicle, select the rental dates, and complete the booking process by making a payment.


4. Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, you can extend your rental period, subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled return time to request an extension. Additional charges will apply based on the extended rental duration.


5. How is the rental cost calculated?
Our rental pricing includes a daily rate and per-kilometer charges for the distance driven. Additional fees may apply for late returns, fuel shortages, or damages if any.


6. What should I do if I encounter a breakdown or accident?
In case of a breakdown, contact our 24/7 roadside assistance team immediately. If there’s an accident, please inform us and file a police report if necessary. Our support team will guide you through the next steps.


7. Is fuel included in the rental price?
No, fuel is not included. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it was provided at the time of pickup. Any fuel shortages may incur additional charges.


8. Are there any restrictions on where I can drive the rental vehicle?
Yes, vehicles may only be driven within the designated area or as specified in your rental agreement. Driving the vehicle outside this area without permission may lead to penalties.


9. Can I rent a vehicle for one-way trips?
Currently, all rentals are for round trips, meaning the vehicle must be returned to the original pickup location.


10. How does the security deposit work?
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be returned after the vehicle is inspected for damages, typically within 3-5 business days after the rental period ends.


11. Is smoking or alcohol consumption allowed in the vehicle?
No, smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees and penalties.


12. Can I have additional drivers for my rental?
Yes, additional drivers are allowed, but they must be registered at the time of booking and provide valid identification and a driver’s license.


13. How do I cancel my booking, and will I receive a refund?
You can cancel your booking by contacting us directly. Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the pickup time. For cancellations within 24 hours, a partial refund policy applies. No refunds are provided for no-shows.
