Welcome to Self Drive Zone. By renting our vehicles, you agree to comply with our terms and conditions. Please review these carefully before making a booking.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

  • Renters must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of driving experience is required for car rentals.
  • Valid identification, such as a passport or government-issued ID, must be presented at the time of pickup.

2. Booking and Payment Policy

  • Booking Confirmation: All bookings are confirmed only upon receiving full payment or as specified at the time of booking.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and select online payment platforms.
  • Pricing and Charges:
    • Daily Rates: Each vehicle has a fixed daily rental rate.
    • Per-Kilometer Charges: Mileage charges are calculated based on the distance driven.
  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking. This amount will be returned after the vehicle is returned in good condition.

3. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • Pickup: Renters are required to inspect the vehicle and report any existing damage before leaving the pickup location.
  • Return:
    • The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the scheduled time.
    • Late returns may incur additional charges, billed per hour or per day.
  • Cleanliness: Vehicles should be returned in reasonably clean condition. An additional cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is excessively dirty.

4. Fuel Policy

  • The vehicle will be provided with a specific fuel level, and it must be returned with the same level.
  • Any fuel shortage at the time of return will incur additional charges.

5. Usage Restrictions

  • Geographic Limits: Vehicles may only be driven within the designated area or country as agreed upon during the booking.
  • Prohibited Uses:
    • Off-road driving, racing, and towing are strictly prohibited.
    • The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities.
  • Passengers and Safety:
    • The vehicle must not exceed its seating capacity, as outlined in its specifications.
    • Seatbelts must be worn by all passengers at all times.

6. Insurance and Liability

  • Insurance Coverage: All vehicles come with standard insurance, covering third-party liability.
  • Damage or Accidents:
    • In the event of an accident or damage, the renter must notify Self Drive Zone immediately.
    • The renter will be responsible for any damage not covered by insurance, as per the insurance policy’s terms.
  • Personal Belongings: Self Drive Zone is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation Policy:
    • 24 Hours Before Booking: Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the booking.
    • Less than 24 Hours: Partial refund or credit, based on our discretion.
  • No-Show Policy: If the renter fails to show up at the scheduled pickup time without prior notice, the booking may be canceled without refund.

8. Roadside Assistance

  • Availability: We offer 24/7 roadside assistance for mechanical breakdowns.
  • Responsibility: Assistance for issues caused by renter negligence (e.g., lost keys, flat tires due to rough driving) may incur additional charges.

9. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and handle all personal information per our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use data.

10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • Self Drive Zone reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Renters will be notified of any significant changes before their booking, and it is the renter’s responsibility to stay informed of any updates.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Agra Jurisdiction.
